The second-to-last night kicked off with Colleen Rennison opening the show, her commanding voice and soulful delivery setting the perfect mood for what was to come. Her set drew the audience in immediately, blending raw emotion with powerful vocals that laid the groundwork for the high-energy evening ahead.

By the time Honeybear, the Band took the stage, the sold-out show was packed wall to wall, with an audience that radiated anticipation before the first note was even played. From the moment the band hit the stage, the energy was electric — retro soul, blues, and roots grooves poured out with a raw intensity that heightened the crowd’s energy. Consisting of Ian Beaty on vocals and bass, Colin Brumelle on guitar, Mike Kenney on keyboards, and Tim Watson on drums, the quartet played with undeniable chemistry. Brumelle’s guitar riffs added groove to the music, Kenney’s keys added a heightened melody. Watson’s drumming drove everything forward with unstoppable momentum, and Beaty’s vocals paired with the harmonies from the rest of the band made the show truly one-of-a-kind.

What truly defined the night was the exchange of energy between audience and band. Cheers, claps, and singalongs seemed to fuel the musicians, who responded with even more intensity and joy from the stage. By the closing notes, Fox Cabaret felt transformed into a celebration of music and connection, the crowd still buzzing long after the lights came up.
