It’s festival season this week in Vancouver -THREE (3!) diy local fests are taking over, sure to keep you occupied through til Sunday. Here’s our guide to these events and some of the best local music you can see!
July 21-26th: Green Auto Fest:
One of the best live music venues in town is going all out this week for their very own festival, running shows every day from Tuesday to Sunday. The massive lineup includes heavy hitters in the local scene like Concrete Vehicles, Hillsboro and Babe Corner, up-and-comers such as GØØ, Runner and Sundress, and exciting new acts like Queenpin, Land Assembly and Gnawing. There’s really something for everyone at this one.

July 25th: The One And Done:
As the name implies, this one-time-only fest is leaving it all on the field this Saturday at The Zone in Richmond, with an all-star lineup including Tiger Really, Cherry Pick, Blue Rivera, Benzonn and more, exclusive merch, a full art market and much more. One time only, watch out for the FOMO if you miss this one!

July 24th-26th: Trooper Fest
Celebrate the life of the notorious punk cat Trooper with three back to back nights of punk, alternative and hardcore at the Russian Hall and Red Gate Arts Society. With a healthy mix of locals such as Emma Goldman, Die Job and The Fomites, plus out of town bands like Danger Box, Trash Sound Conglomerate and Quit It, this is a can’t miss if you’re trying to get into the mosh.
